Wildstar Armorer Guide

wildstar armorsmith This Wildstar Armorer Leveling Guide teaches players to level their Armorer Tradeskill really fast. In this Wildstar Armorer Guide we level using the most efficient order and the least amount of cash and materials to save you time and money.

What Other Tradeskills Go Well With Armorer?

Armorer in Wildstar relies on Mining and occasionally Salvaging. For this view our Wildstar Mining Guide and our Wildstar Farming to gather the materials you need for Armorer Leveling.

The Ucraft Vendbot sells secondary materials to craft items.

Wildstar Armorer Leveling

Novice Armorer

Recipe Materials Notes

First, pick up your quests from the Work Boards in both starting areas. Dominion (Ellevar and Deradune) and Exile (Celestion and Algoroc). We know traveling blows but this will save you from having to create way more items if one of the quests has a ton of prerequisites to make.

  1. If you are unsure where to go then view the Wildstar Tradeskill Trainer Locations.
  2. You will need to complete 3 or 4 of these daily Work Board quests and maybe even complete a Tradeskill achievement to get to the next tier.
  3. Don't forget to salvage the extra items. There are achievements for salvaging.
  4. The quests are random and below is an example of the quests we recieved and completed to level.
4x Type I Steel Weave Gauntlets
  • 5 Iron Chunks
  • 1 One-Nine Fine Carbon
  • 1 Any Quartz Power Core
  1. Crafting 3 of these will unlock the recipe for the Type 1 Steel Weave Plastrons.
  2. Save these, they are for 2 quests.
3x Type I Steel Weave Plastrons
  • 6 Iron Chunks
  • 1 One-Nine Fine Carbon
  • 1 Any Quartz Power Core

Save these, they are for a quest.

3x Type I Steel Weave Leg Plates
  • 6 Iron Chunks
  • 1 One-Nine Fine Carbon
  • 1 Any Quartz Power Core

Save these, they are for a quest.

4x Type II Steel Weave Leg Plates
  • 6 Iron Chunks
  • 1 One-Nine Fine Carbon
  • 1 Any Quartz Power Core

Save 3 of these for a quest and one is extra to get a talent point.

If you prefer to make Gauntlets instead of Legplates, go ahead. Gauntlets do require 1 Quartz extra.

If you did not level to Apprentice, take a look at your tech tree and see if there's an acheivement close to completion that will give the xp needed to level. Acheivements at this level should give approximately 130-150 xp and each item created should give approximately 50-70 xp depending on where in the tree they're located.

Apprentice Armorer

The next stop is Thayd or Illium to gather your next quests. It follows the same general algorithm where we prioritize discoveries and quests over just crafting in bulk.

Recipe Materials Notes

First, pick up your quests from the Work Board in Thayd or Illuim.

3x Type I Titanium Weave Treads Save these, they are for a quest.
4x Type I Titanium Weave Gauntlets These are used for an achievement and to unlock the next recipe.
3x Type I Titanium Weave Upper Cannon These are used for an achievement and to unlock the next recipe.
6x Type II Titanium Weave Upper Cannon

These are used for 1 to 2 quests.

You can turn in your quests and that should bring you up to Journeyman Armorer.

If you did not level to Journeyman, take a look at your tech tree and see if there's an acheivement close to completion that will give the xp needed to level. Acheivements at this level should give approximately 380-420 xp and each item created should give approximately 139-190 xp depending on where in the tree they're located.

Journeyman Armorer

Recipe Materials Notes

First, pick up your quests from the Work Boards in Whitevale and Farside. You can also pick up quests in Wilderrun but it might require higher level items.

4x Type I Platinum Weave Treads 3 of these are for a quest so save these. The other 1 is to unlock the final recipe for the Helmet.
3x Type I Platinum Weave Plastron These are a prerequisite for the next recipe.
3x Type I Platinum Weave Gauntlet These are a prerequisite for the next recipe.
3x Type II Platinum Weave Plastron These are for a quest so save them.
3x Type II Platinum Weave Helmet These are for a quest so turn in all your quests now.

You can turn in your quests and that should bring you up to Artisan Armorer.

If you did not level to Artisan, take a look at your tech tree and see if there's an acheivement close to completion that will give the xp needed to level.

If you're starting a new toon, we recommend trying a Leveling Guide.

Artisan Armorer

The next stop is Wilderrun and Malgrave to gather your next quests. It follows the same general algorithm where we prioritize discoveries and quests over just crafting in bulk.

3x Type I Xenocite Weave Leg Plates Save these, they are for a quest.
3x Type I Xenocite Weave Leg Gauntlets These unlock the next recipe.
3x Type I Xenocite Weave Plastrons These unlock the next recipe.
5x Type II Xenocite Weave Gauntlets 3 of these are for your quest and the other 2 are to unlock the next recipe.
4x Type II Xenocite Weave Plastrons These unlock the next recipe.
4x Type III Xenocite Weave Gauntlets These unlock the next recipe.
3x Type III Xenocite Weave Plastrons These are for your quest, so turn them all in now.

You can turn in your quests and that should bring you up to Expert Armorer.

If you did not level to Expert, take a look at your tech tree and see if there's an acheivement close to completion that will give the xp needed to level or create a few more items.

Once you are an Expert, go to Grimvault for the Work Board dailies there! See the Trainer Location page if you're unsure where to go.

Don't let your guildies down, link to this guide today from your guild website. We promise to treat them right. :)

Great information but will you kindly upload a list of all ArmorSmith & BlackSmith recipes/schematics that are either dropped by mobs or are purchased from vendors by Style name-Set name or Prefix as well as where a player can obtain these? If I google each schematic found on the AH I can find information about that individual schematic but there is not list posted anywhere online... I know I have spent days searching for one. Thanks!
